Ahh, text from Matt to say that Vee is misbehaving! Battery on, key in, lights on, nothing after that.
Bad Vee!

She's obviously spending too much time near to a certain white 44. Learning bad habits and all that.
Thanks for giving her a bit of exercise and a nipping up of the battery terminals Matt. Mucho appreciated.
I went along to the Whitewebb Car Museum in Crews Hill, Enfield today. They have an autojumble shop full of odds and sods. Nothing is really labelled, so you need to know what you want. Nothing is expensive and it is a good way of spending 30 mins or so.
The upshot is that I signed up to join the society and will do some volunteering work on the cars there. A good way to develop some skills, and what was even better, was buying a really nice condition 6v/12v charger for the huge sum of £6. Bargain.

Result Ken! I have a feeling that a 6v charger will come in very handy, although charging batteries is best done through frequent driving - of which I'm sure you'll do lots of with Vee!
