Pete just spoke to the courier and he says that he can do it next saturday which is good for all it seems. Can I also ask that you put my multimeter into Sophie, it was quite expensive and with my business plans the less new tools I have to buy the better. Also PM me with an idea of how much you all want for storing the car for me and i'll sort it out.

Ok we are all set for collection on Saturday. Would anyone be able to meet the courier at approx 9am? It can't really be much later due to the distance involved.
I believe Sophie's new tyres aren't fitted so is she currently rollable? if she is wearing another cars wheels at the moment would it be ok to bring the back down at the spectacular.

I'm sure that will be fine regarding the wheels Paul, we are not exactly short on them. Regarding the collection it might be worth asking Andy whether he can attend, just in case.

Well here she is taking pride of place in the yard. As you can see ive already started to reasemble her. All in all im quite pleased with her she really is as solid as the seller said although I cant say I think much to the work done so far. There are a few patches on the sills that look very crude which at some point will need fettling. The paintwork really will have to be started again as its a joke! I also cant see why the white door has been removed its perfectly usable and repairable so will be going back on. I also note that there are no jacking points on the drivers side. Onto the mechanicals. The engine turns by hand and thanks to a 6v torch battery I can confirm that the dash lights up and the starter motor is getting power I also really like the open bell housing as it allowed me to check the clutch without dissaembly. Put in neutral and turn clutch drum which it does and easily too. So at least I know the clutch is free. Which is more than the brakes. She didn't want to leave the recovery truck due to binding brakes and the brake pedal goes straight to the floor. I will free up the brakes put some brake fluid in (master is empty) and bleed her through I can then check for leaks. Fingers crossed their wont be any and she will be fine. But the first job is a wash! p.s. multimeters are really usefull tools aren't they
