Hi, I'm revising the transmission, I found that the belts are in poor condition. now, Dafhobby has two types of belts: original and Roflex. it seems that the car drives more smooth on the original ones, but some people prefer Roflex because they say those last longer.
What is your opinion? Roflex cost a little 'less

Either. Take your pick!
I've used both, although the last two sets I have bought were Volvo ones (on offer)

I hope you did not take the Variomatic out just to change the belts Stefano?

No, no John. I think he had a diaphragm to do too, and probably other stuff that merited having out rather than crap falling in his face!

plus.google.com/photos/107777037834585159542/albums/5956081150588640689Hi, some photos from the damned problems, please take a look. 1. one of the four masses is off-axis, it is normal, or is the result of what? I can try to bend the bracket to get her back in the right positione? it may be folded for balancing problems? Perhaps it is the result of a broken belt? Or Maybe it depends on the second problem: 2. holes that house the weight of the pin bushings are enlarged, some bushings are worn out and broken. There are parts of the bushings? do you have available the full support and masses in good conditions? has anyone had the same problem, and how it has solved? 3. the great seal of the primary enters only with a bit forcing, it is normal (part number 525 573 spare parts catalog). The pin that goes into this seal does not rotate inside the seal, but it moves forward and back, correct? the thing is getting interesting! thank you, and excuse me for English google-translator-style! Stefano & Gina P.s. one membrane was completely broken. within the primary oil should not be, right?

Possibly. 2. holes that house the weight of the pin bushings are enlarged, some bushings are worn out and broken. There are parts of the bushings? do you have available the full support and masses in good conditions? has anyone had the same problem, and how it has solved? Replace complete sub-assembly. (Or find a machinist who can work magic) 3. the great seal of the primary enters only with a bit forcing, it is normal (part number 525 573 spare parts catalog). The pin that goes into this seal does not rotate inside the seal, but it moves forward and back, correct? I think so. Large seal is tight fit. within the primary oil should not be, right? Small quantity - in each drum - 100cc ATF
